Hallow Scout Group has been in Hallow since 1911 providing adventurous activities
and personal development opportunities for 100+ young people aged 6- 18.
Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual
well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential. In Scouting,
we believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,'
when they are given responsibility, work in teams,
take acceptable risks and think for themselves

Hallow Scout Group has been in Hallow since 1911 providing adventurous activities

Over the years many leaders have come and gone but never forgotten,
Remembering scouting is run by volunteers, some of the leaders of past have given 40 years service and
some of the present leaders have just clocked up 25 years service.
Over the years the hut has seen many changes from meeting in the local church hall to a small wood hut
and eventually to a large building which has in recent years under gone some modernization
such as New Kitchen, Double glazing, Climbing wall computers and Broadband.
The committee have plans to improve the fabric of the building and improve the toilet facilities.
